Per Elcar is Chief Executive Officer at East Capital Group

Per has more than 35 years of experience in global and Nordic capital markets and has been an advisor for East Capital Group since January 2021 before assuming his current role in July 2021.

Prior to East Capital, Per held several senior positions in major Scandinavian financial institutions. His previous experience includes Global Head of Equities of SEB Enskilda (1995-1999) and Head of Cheuvreux Nordic in Stockholm (1999-2003). During the years 2014-2018, he was Executive Vice President at Handelsbanken and Head of Handelsbanken Markets & Asset Management. Furthermore, he has been based in New York working with equities sales covering US financial institutions, and has been on the Board of the Swedish Securities Markets Association.

Per holds a Master of Science in Business and Economics from the University of Stockholm. He speaks English and Swedish.
